Woman Collapses And Dies Soon After Receiving Prophecy From Madzibaba
A 42-year-old woman from Rufaro Resettlement Area under Chief Zimuto allegedly collapsed and died soon after she was given a life prediction at a Madzibaba shrine.
Eustina Mudavanhu was pronounced dead on arrival at Masvingo Provincial Hospital after she had collapsed at Madzibaba Garai’s shrine in Zimuto.
Suprisingly, the man of the cloth had just predicted that Mudavanhu was in good health and that she was going to prosper in life.
Narrating what happened on that fateful day, Mudavanhu’s daughter, Lucky Mavenga, told TellZim that her mother was on her way to Masvingo town when she decided to pass through the shrine but collapsed and died after the church service.
“My mother was fit and had even insisted that we walk to town but later decided to pass through the shrine.
“After we attended the church service she received a prophecy from Madzibaba Garai that she was ok and was going to prosper in life. After the church service, she asked for water and I gave her. I then went to fetch food and while I was away, she collapsed and died,” Mavenga said.
Mudavanhu was later rushed to hospital where the doctor confirmed that she had died.
In other news, iHarare reported that a 38-year-old self-styled prophet reportedly raped a 25-year-old woman in a car after threatening her with a snake.
The suspect, Madzibaba Luckson Mapurisa of Budiriro suburb allegedly raped the complainant who had gone to his shrine for some prayers.
Madzibaba Luckson Mapurisa is alleged to have inserted his fingers into the complainant’s private parts and when she tried to resist, she was shown a big snake which was in a bag and the accused raped the complainant once without protection.
The complainant made a report at Glen View Police Station on 29 May leading to the arrest of Mapurisa.
