He is advocating for a Wizkid statue to be erected in recognition of his achievements.
A Nigerian man is demanding that Afrobeat singer Ayodeji “Wizkid” Balogun be honored with a statue in Lagos State.
Muhammed, a man who wishes to remain anonymous, wants the statue to serve as a representation of Wizzy’s musical achievements.
Taking to his Twitter account @AleeMuhammed1, the starboy said that a decade ago, he had the best record titled ‘Superstar,’ which was his first album and was released on June 12, 2011, and it was the best-selling.
He went on to say that 10 years later, Wizzy released his fourth studio album, ‘Made in Lagos,’ on October 30, 2020, which was a huge hit, and that he is advocating for a Wizkid statue to be erected in recognition of his achievements.
“10years ago wizkid had the best album in game, 10 years later he bodied everyone and gave the best album. Make this man a statue in Lagos ASAP!”
