“Witch Bird” From Finland Killed After Landing In Delta State

A Finland research bird has been described as  a ‘witch’ after flying from Helsinki University and landing in Delta State.

This peregrine falcon was killed in a town called Ofagbe in Delta State. The bird flew all the way from Finland to Delta State with a tag on its leg which reads ” Museum 200L Helsinki Finland”

This is a research bird owned by the University of Helsinki. These birds are often released by research institutes for study & experimental purposes hence the tag.

Also, such birds seen as last of their kind are also released for procreation & preservation.
