They Can’t Run Away With It, Give The 100 Million To The Kidnappers – Gumi Tells FG

Sheikh Gumi has instructed the federal government to pay the Greenfield University students‘ kidnappers the $100 million ransom requested.

He said that the sum of money is excessive and that the kidnappers would be unable to flee with it.

According to a Punch paper, Gumi stated that CBN should pay the federal government $100 million. The kidnappers would release the students after they paid the ransom, and the federal government could then prosecute the kidnappers, recover the money, and do the right thing.

“ The money they are asking for is too much; if I give you that money, you cannot run away with it. Nobody can run” Gumi stated.

He also urged the federal government to move quickly, saying that this is not a problem that can be ignored.

According to Gumi, the Greenfield students‘ situation is a little more complicated since there are two groups of bandits involved.

The ordinary Fulani ethnic herders and the religious elements, or terrorists, are two distinct groups. That is why we have requested government assistance so that we can enter and remove the children.
