In one promo shared by Sony TV, Kapil is seen asking Padmavat actor about Deepika. Archana Puran Singh pulled the comedian’s leg asking him to say how is his sister-in-law. Ranveer also added joined the conversation and said that he has been seeing Kapil taking a lot of interest in Deepu for decades. The actor added that when Kapil was getting married, he asked Deepika to go there together.
The conversation left everyone in splits. In another promo, Ranveer Singh looked so energetic. The actor went on to lift both Kapil and Archana Puran Singh. Ranveer Singh made Kapil compelled to crack a joke on his energy. The comedian said that Ranveer contains such an amount of energy that he can charge a cellphone by placing it on his plan. He also teased Archana saying she keeps on taking small pegs behind the table. Needless to say, his statement resulted in everyone bursting into laughter.
Further in the episode, Kapil went on to play a game with the actor. He asked Ranveer to say some lines from any old film but in Gujarati. As Ranveer’s upcoming film features him in Gujarati, he nailed the dialogues given to him. Talking about the actor’s upcoming film titled Jayeshbhai Jordaar, it is a comedy-drama film. Directed by Divyang Thakkar, the film is produced by Yash Raj Films’ Aditya Chopra and Maneesh Sharma. In the film, Ranveer plays the character of the son of a traditional Gujarati Sarpanch who believes in equal rights for both women and men. The movie will hit the theaters on May 13, 2022.
