The BBC paid a visit to the prophet’s hometown to lament with his family and learn more about him from the locals.
Many people talked about how the prophet had imparted positively into their lives and to the development of the town. They narrated how he sends money, food items, and other things to the elders and other people in the community.
A woman revealed the best memory the children of the town would have about TB Joshua. She said, “Sometimes ago he landed his helicopter in a place in the town, the children rushed there to see it because they have not physically seen that before.
“The soldiers with him wanted to send the children away, but he instructed them to leave the children and allowed them to play with the helicopter.
“The children will pass from one door of the helicopter and come out from the other side. All of them were very happy and had a first-hand experience with helicopters.
