‘Sylvester’s spirit will haunt them’ – reactions Culprits Dowen College fly abroad

Don Davis’s mum has slammed parents of Dowen College alleged killers who flew their kids abroad after allegedly torturing Oromoni to death.

She said, ”Abroad would be hot for them. Sylvester’s spirit will haunt them”-

Deborah Okezie made news last year after she raised alarm over the alleged sexual assaults’ of her son, Don Davis at the Deeper Life High School in Akwa Ibom. Don Davis was a boarder in the school.

In a Facebook live chat, Mrs Okezie called for justice for Sylvester Oromoni. She urged the government to ensure boarding schools have well equipped hospitals as well as CCTVs mounted in the school.

Also Sylvester Oromoni, the father of the late 12-year-old student of Dowen College, has cried out for justice, stating that the parents of the students responsible for bullying and assaulting his son are about to fly them out of the country.

He disclosed this in an interview with The Cable, stating that the parents of the students and wealthy and were alerted by the school to pick their wards.

“The parents of the boys are wealthy. They withdrew them. The school called the parents to pick their wards; interviewed them. Some of the parents are planning to fly the children out of the country,” Mr Oromoni alleged
Recall that Oromoni junior was allegedly bullied and assaulted by some senior boys in the college for refusal to join a cult group.

The cousin of the deceased revealed via his Twitter account that five students bullied him, and forcefully gave him a chemical substance to drink.

However the school in a statement released on Friday denied any form of bullying or attack on the student.

According to Dowen College Principal, Mrs. Adebisi Layiwola, the whole incident is strange and unbelievable.

The statement read, “The whole incident is strange and unbelievable because the school had effective anti-bullying policies and consequences are well spelled out to all the students.”

The Lagos State government has officially shut down the school to commence proper investigation in regards to the death of the deceased.
