Sybil J. (Oswald) Brucker, 75, formerly of Harrison City and Palo Alto, CA, died on Friday, April 15, 2022 In Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born on January 21, 1947 in Provo, UT, a daughter of the late Delbert and Dorothy (Nash) Oswald. Sybil was a Registered Nurse who worked at Magee Women’s Hospital for 29 years. She was a member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and gained and gave support through her membership in the former Laurel Highlands Multiple Sclerosis Support Group. She was a member of Manor Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the church choir and participated in the Women’s Association. Sybil is survived by three step-sons, Frank W. (Judy) Brucker, Joseph M. Brucker, and William J. (Molly) Brucker, and their families; several nieces and nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Joseph V. Brucker; sister, Beverly McRoberts; and brother, Stanley Oswald. Friends are welcome to attend a memorial service on Friday, April 29 at 10:30 AM in the Manor Presbyterian Church, 13 Broadway Ave., Manor, PA 15665. Interment will be in the Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. Arrangements entrusted to Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, 724-744-2721.
