Sickening moment man kicks squirrel off stage at Halsey concert

A man has sparked outrage after a sickening video emerged showing him kicking a squirrel off stage at a Halsey concert.

Fans of the singer were shocked when they spotted the poor animal trying to stay dry from the pouring rain only to be booted into a pool of water.

The highly-anticipated concert was held at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Maryland but pop singer Halsey had to pull out from the show at the last minute due to bad weather.

The rain caused extreme flooding at the venue, which turned into a moat, forcing music fans to leave with disappointment.

In a now-viral video posted on Twitter, a fan wrote: “There’s no way this Halsey Maryland show is real like WHAT.”

The squirrel ran up the stage to keep dry from the rain

The video shows a drenched squirrel climbing onto the equipment boxes and jumping onto the stage only to be violently kicked by a staff.

The poor animal falls off it before dropping into the flooded ditch below.

A few concert-goers scream in terror and shout: “What are you doing? It’s a squirrel! It’s a squirrel!

“You just killed a squirrel.”

Halsey went live on Instagram on Thursday to address the weather and explain the unfortunate situation.

“Our weather expert told us there’s going to be some rain but no big deal but there was some ‘unpredictable’ weather that they didn’t see coming and immediately became very dangerous,” she said.
