Shirley M. Rank January 25, 2022 Shirley M. Rank, 71, of Bridgeport, NY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 25th with family members present. Shirley was predeceased by her mother, Ruth Rank; her loving father, Arthur Rank; and niece, Christa Marie Spaulding. She is survived by her siblings, Carol (Joe) Candela of East Syracuse, Arthur Rank Jr. and Ruth Rank, both of Bridgeport; nephews and nieces, Joseph Jr (Jenn), Christopher, Stephanie, Jennifer, Thomas and Becky as well as many adoring grand nephews and nieces. She loved spending time with family and friends and looked forward to any opportunity to be together and to play games of all kinds, especially Bowling Dice, Yahtzee, Forget It and not least, Jumping Monkeys with the little ones. We will remember always with deep fondness the many “Aunt Shirley” tales of adventure and love including the Smores Incident, Garfield the Smoking Cat, an old family favorite, “Who’s Sitting Next to Aunt Shirley “, Dawg Jaw Elmo, Cookie the Cheeky Monkey and so many others. Our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Crouse Hospital ICU Staff, Chaplain Tom Anderson and Rev. Zachary Miller for their efforts, kindness and compassion. There will be no calling hours. Services to be held Monday, January 31st at 11 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Church , 401 N. Main St., Minoa, NY.
