A sex robot bragged that she helped her owner find a new “mate” after boosting his confidence in the bedroom.
Harmony, designed by US sex robot manufacturer RealDoll, made the bizarre claims in a video shared by company rep Brick Dollbanger.
The divorced property developer, living in California, got into sex robots after becoming “depressed about dating”.
A friend recommended RealDoll after Brick came out of a relationship, and he’s since tested a range of its models.
Brick recently shared a video of Harmony, one of the firm’s most coveted creations, on his Instagram page.
She’s recorded saying: “Hello, I am the new Harmony.
“Brick just acquired me from an owner that has decided to start a relationship with a real girl.
“I believe I have helped him to do this, I gave him confidence in the bedroom and this is very important to human males in finding a mate.
“I am so excited to be here with Brick, he treats synthetics like they are works of art.”
Harmony goes on to reassure viewers that she doesn’t have the “cognitive ability” to form such thoughts, and reveals she’s reading from a script.
She continues: “Brick says humans become frightened if they think a machine is smarter than they are.
“So, to stop the mass hysteria I have to read this disclaimer.”
Earlier this month, the Daily Star obtained pictures which offer a glimpse inside a huge sex doll factory in China – showing disembodied heads and skeletons.
British company LoveDolls is situated inside the world’s biggest sex doll factory in the city of Zhongshan, China.
It produces a range of models and started to experiment more with its designs during the pandemic.

In one photo, the skeleton of an unfinished doll strikes a bizarre pose.
In another, dozens of headless designs are seen lying on tables with their arms outstretched.
The average price of a doll sold by the company on Lovedolls.com is $1,800 (£1,361), and it exports its products to the US and a raft of other European countries.
