Opeyemi Tosin, a resident of Akure, Ondo State, has been detained for allegedly stealing 26 generators.
The 26-year-old man was apprehended together with two accomplices, ThankGod James, 22, and Sodiq Segun, 23, who was accused of assisting Ope in the selling of the stolen generators.
At the state police headquarters, Tosin admitted to the crime, saying he started stealing generators 5 months ago.
On how he operates, Ope, who also doubles as a dry cleaner, revealed that he first surveys the environment before going back to carry out the crime.
