Russian wife tells soldier husband ‘can rape Ukrainian women if you use condom’

A Russian wife has been caught telling her soldier husband to go and “rape Ukrainian women” as long as they wear a condom for protection.

A horrifying phone call released by the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) allegedly shows a woman talking to her husband.

In the call, which is in Russian, she can be heard saying: “You go there, rape Ukrainian women and don’t tell me anything.

“Understood? The main thing is to protect yourself there.”

And a statement from the SBU on Telegram said: “The wives of Russian aggressors are urging their husbands to rape Ukrainian women.

“This shocking interception by the SBU reflects the moral values not only of the occupiers, but also of their relatives, 80% of whom now support the war in Ukraine.

The call comes with a message from the Ukrainian security service warning of Russian soldiers being “allowed” to “rape” Ukrainian women

“We believe that any additional comments here are unnecessary.

“We are working for victory to expel this evil spirit from Ukraine as soon as possible!”

Ukrainian journalist Anastasiia Lapatina, who writes for the Kyiv Independent, tweeted about the call.

She called it the “worst” thing she had heard during the war in her home country.

“But I just heard an intercepted call of a Russian woman telling her partner to rape Ukrainian women, just not tell her about it.

“What the actual f***.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy claimed earlier this week that his investigators had received reports of “hundreds of cases of rape” in areas previously taken over by Russian troops.

And yesterday (Tuesday, April 13), the United Nations demanded an independent investigation into claims of rape and sexual violence committed in Ukraine by Russian troops.

Executive Director for UN Women Sima Bahous told a UN Security Council briefing that all claims and allegations must be “independently investigated” to ensure justice and accountability.

Russia denied the allegations, of course, as the Russian deputy ambassador to the UN, Dmitry Polyanskiy said: “No convincing evidence has been presented for any of these crimes, but it’s understandable that you have trampled the presumption of innocence a long time ago.”
