Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi Proud Of Indians. Zulu’s React To #PhoenixMassacre
Zulu Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi has irked the Zulu household and South Africans after comments made regarding the alleged massacre of black people in Phoenix, Durban. During the recently ended unrest in South Africa, it was reported that black people were being targeted and killed in Phoenix.
Phoenix is a residential area with 90% of people living there being Indians. In a video that is being shared on social media, Prince Buthelezi can be heard proclaiming how proud he is of the Indian people.
“I am very proud of the Phoenix community who have also decided taking the matter into their own hands”, he can be heard saying.
The sentiments did not sit well with the Zuu people who called him out.

Majority of the comments shared showed how people were angry by what Mangosuthu Buthelezi said.
I withdraw all the positive comments I made about Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi @ the back of the passing of our King 😱
His comments on #PhoenixMassacre brings back the dark memories I have of him, a man who once led black on black violence in KZN.

Mangosuthu Gatsha Buthelezi is a South African politician and Zulu tribal leader who founded what became the Inkatha Freedom Party in 1975, and was Chief Minister of the KwaZulu bantustan until 1994. He was Minister of Home Affairs of South Africa from 1994 to 2004.
Here are other reactions to Mangosuthu Buthelezi’s Statement
Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi has passed his sell by date. He is extremely out of touch with the realities of the Zulu nation.
How can he promote the deaths of people killed in the #PhoenixMassacre as a good thing?💔😭

I think some of the advice Ramaphosa is getting recently on Zuma and his family and latest arrest of Ngizwe Mchunu , including Zulu Kingdom issues , Ramaphosa is getting from this old man whose time had long time lapsed , Mangosuthu Buthelezi.
