PHOTOS: Man Dies, Others Injured As Commercial Bus Tumbles After Its Tyre Burst While Driving On Top Speed In Lagos

In Lagos, a Nigerian man, who has yet to be named, died in an accident.

A commercial bus traveling along the Apapa-Oshodi expressway in Lagos state flipped multiple times today, April 30, killing one person and injuring several others.

A commercial bus with the registration number HAL 81 XA collided on the ExpressWay due to a burst tyre as a result of over-speeding, according to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA. One male adult died as a result of the accident, while two others were injured to varying degrees and received first-aid treatment.

The body of the male victim was bagged and handed over to State Environmental Health Monitoring Unit, SEHMU for further transfer to the morgue.
