Nnamdi Kanu, a secessionist, has attacked Lord Frederick Lugard for combining northern and southern Nigeria.
Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, has cursed Lord Lugard for bringing Southern and Northern Nigeria together.
By a document signed by Lord Frederick Lugard, the governor of both protectorates at the time, Northern and Southern Nigeria became united on January 1, 1914.
However, some Nigerians have criticized the 1914 case, claiming it was a big mistake by the colonial masters because of the political, economic, and security crises that have plagued the country since then.
In a tweet on his official Twitter page on Monday, IPOB leader Kanu, who joined in condemning the merger, said it would not go well with Lord Lugard.
Kanu was responding to video he posted on Twitter of a cow moving about in a medical center.
Such a sight, he said, meant that the Nigerian government prioritized cattle over humans.
