Nigeria may use army, police to enforce social distancing – Lai Mohammed



Minister of Information, Lai Mohammad has revealed the Federal Government’s plan to use military and other security operative to enforce social distancing in the country.

Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has been announcing to the general public to stay home amidst coronavirus pandemic while some Nigerians are turning deaf ears to the directive.

Chairman NCDC said: “If you feel unwell, If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance. Follow the directions of your local health tracing as the country cases spike”.

However, Nigeria’s has so far confirmed nine cases today and one death. So far, the country has 39 confirmed cases of the virus.
