New Actor Alert, Veteran Thespian Sello Maake kaNcube Graces The Streets Of Turfloop On Skeem Saam
Veteran South African actor Sello Maake kaNcube has bagged an acting gig on SABC 1 soapie Skeem Saam.
Sello Maake kaNcube who is popularly known for his role on Generations as Archie and as Kgosi on The Queen is going to be gracing the streets of Turfloop on Skeem Saam.
The actor is going to be playing the role of Ntate Kganyago. He is going to make his debut on Skeem Saam on the 11th of October.
According to Skeem Saam October teasers Ntate Kganyago is going to rescue Jacobeth’s daughter Elizabeth Thobakgale from a con artist named Luc.
Meanwhile, speaking about his new role to the Drum Magazine, Sello Maake KaNcube said that he was super excited to have bagged a role on Skeem Saam and he can’t wait to venture and explore the different circumstances of his new character role.
He added that even though he has been in the industry for a while now, he is happy that he is still bagging roles.
“Every character is different on each show. You are venturing into exploring different circumstances of a different persona that you take on. It is a depiction of a different human condition from the one you played in the previous show and that is always exciting. And I am happy to be still getting work,” he says.
Sello Maake kaNcube revealed that he got into the acting business at the age of 16 and has been at it ever since.
“It is clear to me that everything that is happening in my career is a manifestation of that love. I got into acting when I was 16 and now I’m 63, so I am grateful for it all.”
Skeem Saam viewers should expect fireworks on the soapie as the veteran actor promised to deliver on his new role.
“In every role I play, I am always truthful to the character and the performance as a whole and that is why I think they are always so memorable. This one is no different.”
