'Multiple casualties' as flats near hotel collapse with emergency services rushing to scene



A building has collapsed in a US coastal city, with emergency services at the scene.

Eighty fire engines have been dispatched to Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida, the US.

The Miami Fire Department confirmed it was dealing with a “partial building collapse”.

The building in question appears to be Champlain Towers South, an apartment complex close to the beach.
