After vanishing from a party, a 23-year-old model was found shivering and alone hours.
Kate Delaney vanished from the small dance party – with friend and family raising the alarm after realising she had left her phone and shoes behind.
Ms Delaney had been attending the party in Hunter Valley, north of Sydney, Australia, when she vanished at around 1:45am on Monday.
Her parents raised the alarm, with New South Wales (NSW) Police saying they held ‘grave fears’ for her whereabouts.
Police launched a search on Tuesday morning, assisted by a helicopter.
The model was eventually found shivering, cold and alone 2.5km from the party.
She was taken to Singleton Hospital where she was treated for mild sun exposure and dehydration.
A police source told The Daily Telegraph : “She has been found alive and well, her parents had joined in the search and become worried for her safety when she failed to call..”
Police did not elaborate on the exact nature of her disappearance, but reportedly did not rule out the fact she may simply have chosen to leave the party.
