A 23 years old wannabe cannibal who plotted to kill a girl, rape her corpse then devour her has been caged for 40 years.
Sicko Alexander Barter, 23, was snared in an undercover sting after pleading on the dark web for help to fulfil his depraved human sacrifice dreams.
The twisted man also claimed he wanted to have sex with his would-be victims in a series of shocking messages.
He wrote: “I’d like to try necrophilia and cannibalism, and see how it feels to take a life.
“If you’d be willing to let me kill you, are in the US (preferably in the south) and can travel by car, contact me.”
A public safety agent who saw the vile ad swapped a series of messages for 10 days with Barter while posing as a dad with a young daughter in Florida.
He even asked if they could “kill” the agent’s daughter.
Twisted Barter said: “Nice! I’m in East Texas. How old is your daughter? Can we kill her?”
He then hatched a plan to lure the 13-year-old girl to a hotel where she would be cannibalised after he killed her and had sex with her corpse.
Barter told the agent to buy a disposable phone and new clothes to wear after the murder before returning home and reporting her missing.
The fiend assured the man he thought would be his accomplice: “I’m not going to change my mind about this. I really want to do this.”
But the FBI arrested him on his way to the meet in the town of Joaquin, Texas, with a knife, rubbish bag, phone and tablet.
Prosecutor Joseph Brown said: “These are the cases that remind us that evil is real. It also reminds us that we are fortunate that we have law enforcement working to stop these things.”
Barter was jailed for 20 years on each of two charges admitted last December – attempted coercion and enticement of a minor and distributing child sex abuse images.
Prosecutors said Barter’s chilling crimes were a reminder parents need to be aware what their children are up to on the internet.
Attorney Stephen J. Cox said: “As this chilling case demonstrates, online talk is not always just talk.
“The constant vigilance of our law enforcement partners has prevented an evildoer from finding a like-minded accomplice and bringing his grisly plan to fruition.
“This case is a sobering reminder of how the brave men and women of law enforcement face down the worst of the worst in the scariest of scenarios.”
Homeland Security Investigations special agent Mark Dawson said: “In my 23-year-career in law enforcement, this is among the most morally depraved and appalling criminal conspiracies that I have come across.
“Without the quick and decisive actions of special agents from HSI this disturbed predator would still be out there looking for potential victims to carry out his sick and demented fantasies.”
