‘Looks Like A Skinny Andile Mpisane’ -Fans Tear Into Khama Billiat’s FIFA 23 Graphics
Football fans from Zimbabwe and South Africa tore into the graphics of the FIFA 23 game after the animation of Kaizer Chiefs’ forward Khama Billiat surfaced on the internet.
As game users test the ‘improved’ game, which will be available worldwide on Friday, September 30, some fans have praised the game developers for stunning graphics and improved game play.
The game is more realistic and enjoyable because the developers used advanced HyperMotion 2 technology.
Despite the improved physics of FIFA 23, which has been praised by other gamers, South Africans and Zimbabweans criticised the game developers for the poor graphics of the two Dstv Premiership teams, Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs.
According to netizens, the FIFA 23 developers failed to improve the graphics of the players from the aforementioned teams.

Football Twitter argued that the animation of DStv Premiership players is terrible and that it is difficult to distinguish the players by face. In order to identify players, fans need to look at the jersey names and numbers and not the faces. They cited Kaizer Chiefs and Zimbabwe Warriors star Khama Billiat as an example of this. Billiat’s graphics look more like Royal AM chairperson Andile Mpisane.
Below are the comments extracted from Twitter with football fans slamming FIFA 23 graphics.
This is not Billiat
Looks like a skinny Andile Mpisane
Finally, they didn’t put much effort with graphics over the years when it came to African teams… this looks much much better
According to FIFA, this is Khama Billiat
Billiat looks like a one of the American actors
One thing about FIFA, they never get South African players right.
They always fail to get faces of these African players correct. I only recognize Miguel Timm.
