Jah Prayzah, real name Mukudzei Mukombe, posted the picture with the caption “Hamuskundiziva” and no context.

Fans of the musician were puzzled as to why the musician was dressed in gear reminiscent of the cult classic The Gods Must Be Crazy.

Jah Prayzah wrote the lyrics to the song produced by his frequent collaborator Rodney Beatz. At the time of writing, iHarare could not establish if Ticheneke will be part of a larger body of work from Jah Prayzah whose last full-length release was Gwara in 2021. Jah Prayzah is known for releasing albums on a yearly basis except for the two years he spent between Chitubu (2018) and Hokoyo (2020).

The musician released another single Furuwa earlier this month. The single is Jah Prayzah’s rendition of Tairosi Tendaupenyu’s 1984 smash hit Furuwa.
