”I started singing from my mother’s womb” – The Liquid Metal, Odumeje

Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohamaemere, also known as Odumeje, an Onitsha-based cleric, has revealed how he acquired the gift of singing.

He began singing in his mother’s womb, according to the controversial pastor. Prophet Odumeje, who has recently released a number of famous songs, has also mentioned that singing motivates him to take action.

The self-acclaimed Lion said;

“I started singing in my mother’s womb.

“What I possess is a full calling. Everything was given to me so that nobody can brag for me.

“When I’m on the pulpit, I sing the songs that can move me into action. I don’t need anybody to sing for me.”

He writes his music, and much of the time, he prays to God for inspiration for a special song that will move mountains, according to a nationally recognized clergyman.

Odumeje, who spoke in Igbo, said his mission on earth is to let people know that Jesus will take care of them. He went on to say that his name, “Odumeje,” means “Jesus is my leader.”

“It is just like saying Jesus is the one leading me. As they call Gozie Okeke, ‘Akanchawa.’ Gozie is not ‘Akanchawa’ but Jesus is.

“That’s what my music is all about. My music is designed to make people know everything about Jesus,” he said.

One of his songs, titled ‘Umu Jesus’,” featuring Ijele Flavour, is still receiving massive airplay. So also is his highlife-christened track, ‘Great is My God’, featuring Phyno.
