Identity of the deaconess who was arrested for torturing a 14-year-old girl whom she had taken from her parent as domestic staff, has finally surfaced online.
According to reports, her full name is
Mrs. Iyema Oyemola, she is a church deaconess with the Living Faith Church Barnawa and she has five children.
Oyemola was arrested for unleashing terror on a young girl, Kuturah, 14, whom she begged her parent to let the young princess stay with her and her parent single-handedly her to the woman.
It was learnt that the woman used to torture the young girl and always let her sleep inside the toilet with not even a wrapper. She also gave her a cup and told her that whenever she’s thirsty she should fetch water from the toilet to drink.
When then young girl was interviewed, she said; “They would now give me leaves like an animal”
Her father also said “I did not collect or want any money from the woman. All that I wanted to be was for my daughter to go to school.”
