Eugene A. Havill May 24, 2022 Eugene A. Havill, 84, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully at home. Born in Syracuse, he was the son of the late Harry and Carmeetta Havill. A graduate of FM High School, he retired from General Electric after 37 years and was a court clerk for the Town of Manlius. Eugene loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed camping, beach vacations, bowling, golfing, fishing, watching NASCAR, attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, and doing jigsaw and word search puzzles. Surviving are his beloved wife of 64 years, Joan; daughters, Karen and Dawn Havill, Cynthia (Wayne) Rasmussen, Candice (Eric) Burgun; son, Randy Havill; sister, Ellen Hyla; grandchildren, Parker, Bailey and Amy Havill, John, Kris and Kyle DeMetro, Michele and Courtney Burgun, Nicole Stanley; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother, Harry Havill Jr. and granddaughter, Ashley Burgun. Services will be private. Burial will be at White Chapel Memory Gardens.
