Enyobeni Tavern| Tweeps Praise Mother Who Dragged Her Daughter From Groove
Following the death of 21 people in the Enyobeni Tavern disaster, Tweeps have exonerated and praised the mother who trended earlier this month after she went to groove and dragged her daughter home since it was late.
These comments come after 21 young people died mysteriously early yesterday morning at Enyobeni Tavern in East London. Bodies of the dead patrons were strewn at the establishment bizarrely on the floor, on chairs and on top of tables.
Initially, the police suspected a stampede or a some kind of poisoning. A stampede has since been ruled out.
Police Minister Bheki Cele could not hold back his tears after seeing the deceased young people:
The scene I have seen here inside … it takes … it doesn’t matter what kind of a heart you have first the sight of those bodies sleeping (sic) there but when you look at their faces you realise that you are dealing with kids, you have heard the story that they are young but when you see them you realise it’s a disaster.
Tweeps have taken to Twitter to remind each other of how one mother was criticised for her parenting style after she fetched and dragged her daughter from groove.

You all had a debate a few weeks ago, accusing this woman of being a bad mother for picking up her underage child from the groove. The same people are asking “Where were the parents?” today because the majority of kids who passed on ko East London are underage. pic.twitter.com/R7rjGiHtOf

Check out how tweeps reacted to the tweet. in light of the disaster at Enyobeni Tavern.
You cannot allow a child to be liberated at the expense of their safety, no matter how liberated you are hey. Clubs aren’t safe for mature adults, but you want to give kids the freedom to “groove” ?
Never listen to Twitter advice …do wats best for u and yo situation…
Twitter folks want to sound politically correct all the damn time. Not alot of smart folks here. Di tlaela tsa batho if you ask me.
Okay… i dont mind being fetched at a lit place… how u fetch me will be a problem, lets kids be kids, and also let them be responsible. hate the fact that the girl had to ditch the phone, that was wrong
that mother did the right thing, she is a hero in my book, rather than your child be upset with you than dead
