An 80-year-old paedophile molested a young girl twice but faces less than three weeks behind bars.
Sick William Wiltse pleaded guilty to undressing a six-year-old girl to touch her inappropriately in his house on two occasions in March 2013.
The victim told a court how he would get her out of bed, take her to the bathroom and make her take her clothes off, before touching her inappropriately, according to reports.
Typically Wiltse’s crimes would carry a maximum sentence of up to 30 years in jail in Texas, but the victim’s agreed just 20 days and his name to be added to the sex offenders’ register, to be satisfactory.
The predator from Wichita Falls, Texas, can also avoid having the sex crime added to his criminal record if he successfully completes a 10-year probation programme.
Wiltse admitted two counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact, as well as two counts of indecency with a child by exposure.
He was ordered to pay a total of $3,965 (£2,840) in fines and court costs, banned from owning a gun or ammunition, and ordered to carry out 240 hours of community service.

He has also been banned from being in contact with anyone under 18-years-old without prior approval.
Prosecutor John Gillespie explained the victim’s parents gave their blessing to the sentence and they wanted to spare their daughter the trauma of testifying about his crimes in court.
According to the Times Record News, an affidavit for an arrest warrant said: “An 11-year-old girl was forensically interviewed on September 22, 2017, at Patsy’s House Child Advocacy Center” and that during the interview, “the child described incidents perpetrated by a relative five years before”.
His victim recounted that “Wiltse would wake her up late at night, take her into the bathroom, remove her clothes, look at her privates and touch her inappropriately. She indicated he did the same thing on two different occasions”.
The affidavit also mentions that the incidents “occurred at or six months after Wiltse bought the property the child described” which was the time around when she was “in the first grade on or around March 1, 2013,” Meaww.com reports.
