Disney ride horror as Safari tour car breaks down in middle of lion enclosure

A group of Disney guests got an unexpected experience during a Safari ride in a lion enclosure after they got stuck inside with the animals for 40 minutes.

Tourist Katelin was among the tour group when she hopped on the vehicle to roam around the Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida on February 12.

“We were enjoying it then… stuck for 40+ mins,” Katelin wrote in her video, showing a majestic lion walking up a hill not too far from the vehicle.

In her follow-up video, she filmed ladders up against the vehicles and Disney park staff helping to evacuate guests.

“We are actually stuck in the lion area for 40 minutes, now we have to walk the rest of the way,” she said.

As the group head towards the vehicle at the front, Kate says: “Oh that’s the issue!”

It appears that one of the front wheels is badly mangled, which is responsible for the issue in the park.

Katelin and other tourists follow the staff’s guide and make a long way back to the theme park.
