The friends and family of British expat Paul Lowery who was killed in a plane crash in Spain have paid tribute to the “experienced” pilot.
Paul, 46, died instantly after the plane he was flying plummeted into the sea off a beach near the port city of Cartagena on Saturday May 8.
The expat died instantly despite the best efforts of a nearby canoeist who helped pull his body out of the water.
Friend Javier Martinez Pacheco said Paul was a “very serious pilot” who “followed all the rules,” describing his friend’s death as “very regrettable and tragic.”
