Blippi Controversy: In The Past, Blippi and Steezy Grossman Posted Videos Such as “Underwear Man” and “Turd Boy”!

American children’s entertainer and educator Stevin W. John was born May 27, 1988, as Stephen J. Grossman, better known by his nickname Blippi on YouTube, Hulu, Netflix, HBO Max, and Amazon Prime Video.

John’s Blippi character has a youthful, active, and inquisitive demeanor, and he’s always decked out in a blue and orange beanie hat, blue shirt, orange suspenders, and orange bow tie.

Early Life

In the beginning, his name was Stephen J. Grossman, and he was born on May 27th, 1988, in Ellensburg, Washington.

As a child, he spent a lot of time around agricultural equipment like cows, horses, and tractors, all of which piqued his interest. He dreamed of one-day piloting fighter planes and driving limousines.

Blippi Controversy

When you’re famous, you can’t avoid scandals. A video of Stevin allegedly urinating on his pal surfaced online in 2019, landing him in hot water.

No one can confirm that the same person who uploaded the obnoxious videos titled “Underwear Man” and “Turd Boy” is also the current world’s most popular entertainer, Blippi and Steezy Grossman.

But now, not even the most divisive video can stop Stevin from bringing us all the benefits of a world in which parents need not worry about their children spending too much time in front of screens.

Military Service

John’s desire of becoming a pilot was partially realized when he enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2006. It was as a loadmaster for the C-17 Globemaster at Washington’s 4th Airlift Squadron that he made his mark in the military.

John’s responsibilities included figuring out how to best distribute the weight of the plane’s cargo and figuring out where to put it. His time in the Air Force ended in 2008.

Over a billion views on YouTube and a growing production workforce are signs of the videos’ eventual success.

The Blippi crew planned to launch Blippi Toys, produce movies in Spanish, and sell DVDs and digital downloads from the Blippi website.

However, while kids love Blippi’s innocent tone and catchy songs about things like garbage trucks, fire engines, and pizza, some parents have voiced concerns about the character’s lack of nuance.

John was accused of “bait and switch” in 2019 after he marketed a Blippi tour and charged exorbitant prices for tickets while bringing in an impersonator.

The Blippi Live show’s promoter and producer have maintained that the show’s promotions and ads made it clear that John would not be on the tour, and that ticket buyer were given the option to receive a full refund.

Sloppy Grossman

Blippi Controversy

John’s prior work includes a series of juvenile gross-out movies in which he plays the character Steezy Grossman, a boy whose parents had anal sex and thus gave birth to him as poo.

Under the alias Grossman, he released several offensive movies, including one in which he defecated on a naked friend while doing the Harlem Shake on a toilet.

John apologized for the video he made in 2019 and utilized takedown notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act to have it removed from the internet.
