The IGP under the direction of the president has gone down to the South East to address the situation and also start an investigation.

As people were still processing this tragic and unsettling event. Another police station has been set ablaze by unknown gunmen as reported by The Nation.

Nnamdi Kanu in response to this have sent a message to the Governor of Imo State, Governor Hope Uzodinma via his Twitter page. The tweet is short and precise, it is a Bible verse in Aramaic which was translated by Daniel for the King Belshazzar about the impending destruction of his kingdom. His tweet says: “Hope Uzodinma, mene mene tekel upharsin.”

‘Mene mene tekel upharsin’ was the writing on the wall, interpreted by Daniel to mean that God had weighed Belshazzar and his kingdom, had found them wanting, and would destroy them: Dan. 5:25.
