Mzansi was left divided over “absurd” charges the radio and entertainment personality Lerato Kganyago set per night for her hotel and spa 12 on Hillel Villa And Spa.
A whole “R100, 000 per night for four people”, exclaimed the renowned traveller Mary-Jane Explores on her microblogging Twitter page.
Lerato’s new hotel continues to set tongues wagging on social media. From revelations that she was not the real owner of the place to recent reports that she charges a little bit south of half a million rands.
While social media users were still digesting online squabbles between blogger Musa Khawula and Lerato concerning the same hotel, they were treated to the recent report by Mary-Jane.
“Lerato Kganyago’s much anticipated alleged hotel 12 on Hill Villa & Spa. I don’t think these photos do it justice.
A two-night stay with 4 of your friends will cost you R100 000.
It features 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen and stunning pool,” she wrote.
A mini back and forth ensued under Mary-Jane’s tweet after Lerato reacted with some “corrections”.
She claimed that the charges posted were incorrect and outdated versions on their website. She also revealed that her proper charges are in fact way lesser than the ones posted.
“Hello Mama! Please give us a call to get an ACTUAL rate, I promise you it’s way lesser than this, we will fix it online asap. And it is not “alleged” IT IS ya Lerato Kganyago. LOL Hope to see you soon, will create a nice package for you,” she said.
For a long time now Lerato has been disputing claims that she is not the real owner of the Hotel. She dropped receipts from the Company and Intellectual Property Commission a few weeks ago to prove to social media that she was the real and sole owner of the hotel and that she was gifted by her husband as a Valentine’s present earlier in 2022.
