7de Laan Fezile “Sello” Mpela’s Fan Asks For Prayers As Actor’s Life Crumbles

 

A fan of veteran  Fezile Mpela’s fan has requested for prayers as the actor’s life continues on a downward spiral.

Mpela, who became a household name thanks to his performance as Sello on 7de Laan has been going through a rough patch of late.

The actor is a former shadow of himself and from pictures shared by his fan on Twitter, he has lost some weight.

It is not clear why the fan asked fellow South Africans on Twitter to pray for the veteran actor. The fan wrote:

This guy has seen a lot shame. I remember long ago this very prominent actor on Uzalo lied to him about the paternity of his baby. He found out years later that the baby wasn’t his. I cannot imagine what that stress does to you.

But the guy looks fine for his age, if it’s 48. Why should we pray for him, is he sick? People starts to age post 40, and they age differently due to lifestyles and health issues.

In October 2019, his ex-wife Natasha Mathebula-Mpela took her own life after suffering from depression. She allegedly hanged herself in her parental home in Rabie Ridge, Tembisa, in Gauteng.

Although it was not clear what caused her depression at the time, she and Fezile Mpela had been fighting like cats and dogs since their divorce.

At the time of her death, Natasha and Mpela were fighting over the division of their joint estate, including their matrimonial home in Northcliff.

In 2020, it was reported that his valuables worth R252,500 were stolen during a family gathering at his home.
